Cargo Vans FAQs

Can you help lay out the cargo area?

Yes. Tell us your trade and what you carry, and our Business Elite team will recommend shelving, bins, partitions and racks for the Express you choose.

Are shelving and racks covered by the Chevrolet warranty?

Chevrolet notes that equipment from independent suppliers is not covered by the GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty. The equipment maker covers its own product, and the van keeps its Chevrolet coverage.

How do the Express 2500 and 3500 differ?

Payload is the main difference - up to 3,280 lbs for the 2500 and 4,280 lbs for the 3500, with the same wheelbases and engines. Weigh a normal load, shelving included, before you decide.

Do I need the 6.6L V8?

Only if you tow - it unlocks the 9,600 lb trailering rating. For service calls without a trailer, the standard 4.3L V6 is plenty.

Program benefits and incentives are set by the manufacturer and are subject to change and eligibility. Business Choice allowances apply to eligible Chevrolet Accessories, vehicles and business customers only. Equipment from independent suppliers is not covered by the GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty. GM is not responsible for the safety or quality of independent supplier alterations. Towing, payload and GVWR figures are maximums for properly equipped vehicles; ratings for a specific vehicle depend on its configuration. Tax information is general - consult your tax advisor.
