Chevy Off-Road Concept Is the Ultimate All-Terrain Vehicle
The Chevy Off-Road Concept is designed to rule rugged terrain as the ultimate high-performing all-terrain vehicle.
The Off-Road Concept is powered by the intensely potent Chevrolet Performance 6.2-liter LT4 supercharged V8 crate engine paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. With a 650-horsepower rating, this engine propels the customized pickup to conquer, well, everything.
“There’s nothing else like the Chevy Off-Road Concept,” says Jeff Trush, GM program manager, Pace Car and Specialty Show Vehicles. “It delivers a ton of performance and capability, which makes it adept at conquering rough terrain — and it flat-out flies in desert running.”
The Chevy Off-Road Concept features a modified Silverado chassis, five-link rear suspension, a 91-inch track, 37-inch tall off-road tires, 20-inch beadlock wheels, and the Chevrolet Performance Big Brake Upgrade System. The exterior shape offers tubular doors and a front end that resembles a clamshell. The bed has two spare tires and the truck’s back is open. This helps will dust removal as you race over the desert terrain. There’s no question this off-roading beast is a Chevy as it proudly displays bowtie emblems in the front and back.
You’ll also have a clear view of truck diagnostics such as pitch and performance data and stats thanks to two 7-inch diagonal LCD screens in the cabin.
