The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST has put the pickup segment (and the auto industry) on notice not only with its eco-friendly powertrain, but also with what its EV powertrain can do! The electric Silverado promises to deliver an impressive driving range, an intense towing capacity, and groundbreaking features that align with and push forward the unbeatable legacy of the Chevy Silverado. Here is a closer look at the power and features we at Quirk Chevrolet GMC of Rockland already love in the electric Silverado.

Power Player

The Chevrolet Silverado EV RST offers a substantial towing capacity at 10,000 pounds, when properly equipped. Payload capacity maxes out at 1,300 pounds.

Go the Distance

When considering an EV, most drivers hesitate because of driving range. When you’re investing in a truck for your livelihood as well as family demands, you need one that can go the distance. You can rest assured that the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado has what it takes to keep you on the go for miles. General Motors estimates that when working on a full charge both the debut trims of the Work Truck (WT) and RST have a 400-mile range.[1]

Smart Design

The Silverado has always been a showstopper and that continues with the 2024 Silverado EV.

“We had no constraints when it came to designing the Silverado EV with dramatic style and flexible utility because we didn’t need to work around a traditional propulsion system,” said Phil Zak, executive director of Chevrolet Design.

Without the traditional engine, the Silverado EV offers extra storage space in its eTrunk. The weatherproof compartment has a lock.
